Evolve Treatment Centers provides cutting-edge residential and outpatient treatment to adolescents struggling with mental health and substance use disorders. Our La Mesa team is expanding, and we’re seeking a compassionate and experienced LVN to join our dedicated clinical staff.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver direct patient care, monitor vital signs, and assess changes in mental or physical status
• Administer medications and maintain accurate documentation (including transcribing M.D. orders)
• Participate in treatment team planning and professional staff meetings
• Educate patients and families on medications, hygiene, and wellness
• Call in and pick up medications from the pharmacy as needed
• Lead in-service training for staff on medications, documentation, and safety
• Maintain a safe, clean work environment and comply with health/safety protocols
• Communicate effectively with staff and weekend nurses to ensure continuity of care
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Valid California LVN or LPT License
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Minimum 1 year of nursing experience (Psych or chemical dependency experience preferred)
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Calm, compassionate demeanor in high-stress situations
• Strong organizational skills, initiative, and ability to maintain professional boundaries
• Team-oriented mindset with the ability to make independent decisions when needed
• Willing to cover our 2 locations in La Mesa
